How to use Magic Wand Tool in Adobe Illustrator


Magic wand(Shortcut Key: Y)

 In this session you will learn how to use Magic Wand Tool. By using Magic Wand Tool we can select same color or similar tone objects. when we create some complicated designs and we have to select same color objects and have to change colors of some objects, so we can do this work easily by using magic wand tool.



there are some more options-

Double click on the tool, to open these options.


In this panel first option is Fill color, it is selected by default. Tolerance is the selection range, more the tolerance selection range will be increase, and it will select same color and also similar tone objects. 

Second option is stroke color, when you select this it will objects with same stroke color.
next option is stroke weight, when you select this it will select objects with same stroke weight.
next option is opacity, it will select objects with same opacity value.
next option is blending,  it will select objects with same blending mode.
